At AuralSolve Inc., we strive to make your Mac Phone Support experience with us a successful endeavor. However, before our Mac OS X Support Specialists can provide you with troubleshooting assistance for your Apple computer, it´s important for you to understand the following terms and conditions of our Mac Phone Support service.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the data on your Apple Macintosh computer has been properly backed up before we begin troubleshooting your system. Although we take great care in providing assistance over the phone, you acknowledge that we are not responsible or liable in any way, shape or form, for any data loss or hardware issues that may result from our telephone support.
In addition, certain telephone support companies offer the ability for their advisors to remotely log into your system and resolve issues. They claim that it is ´safe´ and that their employees will not delve into your affairs. While their connection to your computer may or may not be secure, the technical representative (as well as other people nearby) can still view personal and confidential files on your computer. Your competition or some undesirable organization would be delighted to get their hands on your own financial and private files. We believe this is a violation of your privacy and that is why we will not use this technology. At AuralSolve Inc., we strongly believe that your private files should remain private and not be accessed by anyone except yourself.
Once we have processed your payment for our support, you are provided with up to one (1) hour of troubleshooting time for one issue with your Apple computer. Whether your issue is resolved within the hour, or we need to refer you to a third party for further assistance (such as to resolve a hardware issue), no refund will be issued for any remaining unused troubleshooting time and any such time is not credited towards future calls.
As a result of using our support services, you also agree that AuralSolve Inc., its employees and/or its independent contractors, will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages as a result of our assistance, including but not limited to, any consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, or punitive damages whether in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if such party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
